THE QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE TOUR, BIRMINGHAM - 12 July 2012

As part of her national diamond jubilee tour, HM The Queen and Prince Philip visited Birmingham. They arrived at Snow Hill Station, proceeded to the Council House in Victoria Square where they signed the visitor's books and were entertained by dancers, a band and a display of table tennis. Most importantly they greeted the thousands of people who were waiting to see them.
From here they went to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital  which The Queen officially opened, and onward to RAF Cosford for a special pageant.
Here are a few photographs from Victoria Square.
